Step One - Cut out a small strip of paper about 3.5 inches long, and slip it around the finger you will be wearing your new ring.

Step Two - Wrap the paper around your finger below the 2nd knuckle so that the paper is in contact with your skin all the way around. Then mark with a pen wear the paper starts to overlap.
